So one of my current personal projects is a Thousand Sons exalted sorcerer, except I’m customising him up a bit... XD I carved butterfly wings out of plasticard to represent a winds/wings of change spell, and I’m using a combo of wire and milliput to make the magic trail as he casts it. That casting arm is sagging a lil in these photos cos atm it’s just attached with blu-tac XD It’ll be up a bit more when I actually finish and glue it in place. I also still need to sculpt the butterfly’s body and the rest of the magic trail, but I needed to wait for what I’ve done so far to set first!

I’m also adding some similar lil butterfly-wing-tail trailing things from his cloak to help visually balance out all the stuff coming out from the front. The photos here just have the base plasticard blu-tacked into place for the moment.

I also made a custom base out of spare sprue and milliput! It’ll be a lava base to go with the rest of my blue Thousand Sons models.
