Question for Rotten Egg;
FFC 🌿: Hey REC, is your Shadow Milk.... been doing alright? The last time we interacted, your Shadow Milk Cookie appeared to have "rabies".....
🥚: "He's fine now - sometimes he gets sent into a rabies episode and starts trying to bite everyone, usually when we get water on him or we start speaking about certain topics. We got him a muzzle, so hopefully the biting problem is solved... do you know if they found a cure for rabies yet? Follow up: can they send it to the afterlife?"
🧈: "How did he even get rabies in the first place?"
🥚: "I am not sure... perhaps he got bit by a rabid cakehound during his whole 'Ultimate Cookie' thing?"
🃏🥛: "I look stupid..."
🧈: "Smile for the camera~"

Hey Rotten Egg Cookie, I recently saw one of your ask blogs here, and I'm just checking in to say hi.
Question for N3on/Creator
Do you think that Rye Cookie and Chili Pepper Cookie would have been huge fans of Benign Butter Cookie? Since he would've been the "Greatest Bounty Hunter" across Earthbread...?
🖋 = Me, n3on!
🖋: I would say the pair would look up to him in a way! Rye Cookie in terms of his achievements - being able to catch so many wrong-doers in his lifetime as a bounty hunter. And Chilli Pepper in terms of how much money he must have (as well as the bounty above his own head)
🧈: "Weeell~ I wouldn't say I was the Greatest Bounty Hunter, but I was pretty damn good wasn't I?"
🥚: "... aren't you supposed to be looking after Shadow Milk?"
🧈: "Silent Salt said he'd look after him! They'll be fine, don't worry!"
🥚: "Oh, okay then... HOLD ON- YOU HAVE A BOUNTY OVER YOUR HEAD????"
Meanwhile, with Shadow Milk and Silent Salt:
🐜⚔️: "Having fun down there, buddy?"
🃏🥛: (Convulsing on the floor, foaming at the mouth, and barely concious within a furious rabies episode) "I-I- hurgh- hope Elder Fa-Faerie says y-[hic]-your dick's s-mall-augh-"
🐜⚔️: "Yeah, you're having a lot of fun, aren't you?"
day three: fairy lights
warnings: none
It’s one of the first things Sarah does when she arrives. Maybe a little silly because she is, after all, a grown adult. But she does it all the same.
They happen to be in one of the first boxes she could bring herself to unpack— most of those containing clothes and books and all manner of her other possessions remain stacked against a wall in what should be her living room. Her bed frame is still unassembled, propped up in a corner of the room; for now her bed is a mattress, a faded green throw cushion that’s not really meant for sleeping on, and a knitted maroon blanket. But it serves its purpose, Sarah finds, carefully taking the string of star-shaped fairy lights and hanging them over the little hooks she had put up, purchased from the hardware store in town earlier that day, when she’d ventured out for some essentials.
Eventually she’s finished, and Sarah flips the little switch, standing back to admire her handy work: now almost dark, the lights draped across her new bedroom wall cast a warm, inviting glow about the room, and it’s in that moment that Sarah decides that yes, things will work out.
day ten: photos
There are dozens of them, strewn across the floor. Sarah had completely forgotten she even had that particular box until one careless move had sent its contents scattering across the floor of the new space that was now her living room. They document various occasions throughout the years, some mundane, others important. Some taken early enough that her father is still there in them, with her and her mother. Birthdays and Christmases, Sarah with a couple of friends from high school— before everything had gone to hell. There’s even one of her from her university graduation, which she’s not ready to look at too closely yet. There are others like that; mostly they’re from the last four years, from when things had gotten worse. And even though Sarah is arguably in a far better place than she had been in around the time some of those photos were taken, she’s just not ready to revisit them. Not yet.
day one: road trip
warnings: none
The last of her belongings loaded into her car, Sarah takes a last look around her now-empty apartment. Most of her possessions had already been taken in a removal van the previous day. She runs a hand absently along the wall, her shoes loud in the silence against the hardwood floors, footsteps echoing now the curtains and furniture were gone.
This was going to be a fresh start for her, and Sarah can’t help but smile as her hands grip the steering wheel, pulling out onto the road. Every passing moment takes her further away from that apartment in the city, the place she had spent the past few years, the place that held some of her darkest moments.
It’s not a particularly long drive- an hour and a half at most- but it’s the furthest she’s been in a long time. And so, as a breeze moves in through the open window, ruffling her hair as it is carried by the momentum of the car, she flicks the radio to ‘on,’ deciding that that makes it a road trip.
