P.S. it would mean the world to me if this community got behind META - I've been on Tumblr for 8 years now now and met some of my favourite people through this app, so you all hold a special place in my heart. Every time someone reblogs a poem or a sends me a message, it makes me smile to know there's someone reading my words and relating to them in some small way.

This book has been a long time coming but it's here and it's real and I'm slightly terrified of the idea that there's something so permanent of mine out there in the world. Weird to see my words on paper when I've been looking at them through pixels for so long - but a good kinda weird, I think 🥰

Scary? Yes. Exciting? Absolutely. 

It still feels wild to me that a few months ago, this creation took up absolutely no space in the world at all. It was an idea, a piece of mind matter that genuinely held no specific form - then it started taking shape as bit matter on a backlit screen - and now, it's REAL matter. A real object I can hold in my hands with real weight and real pages and isn't that just so hecking cool?? 🤯 

So here's your two second introduction to META: 

✨ part love story, part warning, METAPOETICAL reflects on the myth of the muse from the perspective of a poet, writer & creative ✨ 

I think all writers write about the muse at some point in their journey, and this collection dives into all things magic, wonder, frustration and fury that goes along with it. If that's something you'd like to read about, META is just the poetry collection for you.
