who/what are your artistic influences, you wonderful colorist! seriously, your art has such a lively texture and color sense that I find really inspiring! I don't know how much of my love for your sensibility has to do with your line work vs. your sense of shape vs. your color sense but I'm leaning hard towards the last two, i think? And I agree that whatever it is it’s probably not my linework ahahahaI used to do mainly acrylics and oil and moved to digital/”lined” art after high school, and I think whenever I try to paint a complete picture it shows through. Honestly though with tumblr I have grown tremendously, and i follow a LOT of artists. You can see everyone I follow on tumblr/followed/by/pepplemint but I think more than anything my inspoblog is where I really take in things. I am a big fan of animation, you know, the ART of it so that’s definitely something I learn from every time. I don't know how to phrase how much I _respect_ your writing. It doesn't feel like you're using characters as mouthpieces. I believe you, you know? What separates you from other authors I love is your approximations of intangible truths. I feel like your words orbit around something transcendent. It's not purple, or stark. It's deliberate.
