Anyway. Canto X predictions & expectations
Forsaken Murderer appears
Forsaken Murderer appears
Forsaken Murderer appears
jk. This is not going to be the whole post
Marie is awesome. Their relationship is awesome
Metropolis parallels. Maybe Marie is Maria and runs a church-like something
Meursault works as One Who Nails. He photographs people for Canned Experiences
Mother was in M Corp. when she died, and she didn't die by Meursault's hand
Meursault is blamed for metaphorically killing his mother like in the book and internalizes that
Mother may or may not be abusive. Either would be a good choice
Raymond is running some illegal operation, maybe a film production, in any way he is either breaking or on the verge of breaking a Taboo. He wrongs someone, Meursault assists him in some way, they become "friends"
Raymond has a gun. Maybe the way he's breaking a Taboo is that he has it illegally
A Backstreets dweller pursues the main 3, in that happening, Meursault for some reason Distorts. He is in posession of Raymond's gun and kills the dweller. Maybe his breach of Taboo is firing a gun he doesn't own or pay taxes for
Raymond is dead as of Canto X, or maybe he faked his death
Celeste is actually Meursault's friend. He owns some sort of business
At least one mention of kissing a man/Celeste (like in the book)
We go on Meursault's trial to defend Meursault, but fail miserably despite there being an entire gamemode for the trial
Meursault's dead body is placed into something that interferes with Dante's abilities and we have to fight a bunch of people
Meursault ends up missing for the majority of one part
Meursault dies forever and never returns (joke)
The general mood of the Canto is very fucking dark
Forsaken Murderer appears in a flashback to Cogito experiments or to his time in prison. Since he's from N Corp we all know that and agree mhm mhm
Either Marie or Raymond join N Corp. New League. My bet is on Marie because that would be very sad and fuck Raymond I hope he's dead or we kill him
Chaplain is Heinrich Kromer
We do not kill the Chaplain
Meursault's main internal conflict is that he does not recognize any value in life, and has to find some reason to keep himself alive
Meursault doesn't smile and doesn't get the "actually he's empathetic" treatment. He still feels less than others
The newspaper collection makes an appearance
Edit: I didn't even mention Salamano. Criminal offense
Salamano is an old man who abuses his dog and Meursualt relates to the dog
