An About the Character meme @solarblessing tagged me to do! Thank you so much, I love doing these!!! I chose my forest boy Mevt whom I’ve already talked a lot about but here he is again.

Mevt aka 13052022 aka Lobhadh Dubh aka I have too many names for him. I bet he has spooky nicknames from places where he's been 'spotted' too.

I’m quite fond of the above wip I have of him (also I’m keeping up the trend of posting my unfinished art in oc questions).

2 headcanons you have for your muse

- Mevt is endlessly fascinated by people, modern culture and music (from the 1920s) he’s exposed to whenever he visits the nearby towns. I guess a part of it is that he’s been very sheltered from those things and I figured Scathach doesn’t really care what he does when he runs errands.

- One of my absolute favourite headcanons about him is that whenever he visits a village and has to bring Scathach along for some reason (they use magic to appear more normal), she refuses to stick to one disguise. As a result he has to keep introducing her to people as new, increasingly odd members of his extended family. 

3 things your muse loves doing in their spare time

- Petting cats (monstrous or not). His approach to spooky vaguely cat-like things is ‘oooh touch’.

- Collecting basically anything that catches his interest (leafs, cool rocks, any kind of trinket from the villages) and sometimes reworking and combining them.

- Meeting new people / creatures.

7 people your muse loves/likes

I can’t really name that many people he knows. He's familiar with the witches although I doubt he likes any of them, except Scathach to a degree. He gets easily attached to people who are kind to him (or that he just finds fascinating) and likes a whole bunch of people he probably doesn’t know the name of. As far as I’ve developed the story I know he’s befriended other forest spirits and people from the village.

1 phobia your muse has

His two biggest fears are big bodies of water and abandonment, which are somehow related. He has a strong fear of being submerged in water which Scathach obviously at one point caught up on and tried to ‘cure’ by pushing him into the lake. It didn’t work, but it’s something he definitely gets to work on overcoming.

A reaally late birthday present for the lovely @splicerspawn <333 This precious undead boy, Mevt is definitely on my list of like “Top 5 OCs” or “OC Hall of Fame”, so of course I just knew (or I hoped haha) I would draw him at some point. And it was a pleasure :)
