FireAlpaca includes some pre-installed paper sizes. Is it possible to add new defaults to this list or am I stuck using the history? (e.g. if I draw computer wallpapers frequently)
Just the history section.

I use FireAlpaca on two computers, a Surface tablet and a (significantly more powerful) laptop. The brushes are different between them, but I store all my art on a USB stick. Is it possible to tell FireAlpaca to look for brushes stored on the USB stick?
Sorry, I do not think so. Feature suggestions here: https://firealpaca.com/report/
The best you could do is use the Help menu, Open Config Folder to find, copy, and paste configurations to/from the USB. (Note: close FireAlpaca first if you are overwriting configuration files, as FireAlpaca saves the working configuration when it closes).
MediBang Paint Pro, FireAlpaca’s sibling program, which makes (optional) use of cloud (online) libraries, has a feature to upload and download your brushes to a cloud account, which enables quick transfer/sync between computers..
