I love this whole set up because 

1) nervous and innocent Collins who “needs the practice” Sjdflskjlksjlgdk  2) Jack & Phryne beginning the quest to ensure Dot/Hugh endgame makes my heart grow ten sizes 3) JACKS FACE. IT IS A PROBLEM FOR ME THIS ENTIRE EPISODE.

but look at this cute face he makes when she walks in (after hes been FAWNING OVER HER PHOTOS IN THE FOLDER) and she says  “you summoned me” and he just says “YES!” and smiles as if he doesn’t have THE BIGGEST CRUSH ON PHRYNE FISHER EVER. 

And I didn’t notice the first time but when the camera shows us that they are actually photos of Phryne, you can hear Jack “huff” a little bit. He’s laughing over how cute she is. I just cant.

And over here we see Jack trying and failing to not be comPLETELY TURNED ON BY EVERYTHING PHRYNE CHOOSES TO BE. JACK IS HAVING THE BEST DAY EVER DONT LET HIS SERIOUS GRUMPY FACE FOOL YOU because right after this he gets literally spoon fed by this mega hot babe. 

ALSO? She just came up with the idea to bring Jack a picnic? And feed him on his desk? DONT MIND ME just crying over how much sunlight and happiness Phryne brings into Jack’s life.
