Skye is a printmaker we met during a workshop in New Mexico when she was an undergraduate student at the Institute of American Indian Arts six years ago. Last month Skye and I crossed paths again, in Portland this time, when I visited Pacific Northwest College of Art. Now, Skye is proofing a portrait Jesus and I created of James Baldwin as part of Watershed a publishing program that students work on.
