Further context: Seawatt and EMF have somehow become such dads to Boey and I’m living for it. Seawatt is the dad that didn’t want the cat and they are now inseparable. I refuse to hear out any disagreements

you know what. for a story with this plot its ironic that i didn't really get attached to any of the LIs. you kind of have to pick one for the story to work though and noah was the least annoying out of all of them (made a big show of respecting women like twice early on)

i hate that they lastnamelocked the mc lol but i never really gave a thought to come up with a reason for why her family has an english surname or what surname i would have given her if we could choose the surname. umm im gonna pick one right now. Avery Yang

in retrospect David and June are extremely korean american names. maybe thats why i decided she was korean hahah

If they really wanted to explore the concept of teenage sexuality they would have made the female best friend one of the “first loves” to really show how teenage years are full of questioning and confusing times.

But they would never force a female LI on anyone EVER.
