Mason all the fucking time:
ASKFNFNFN- SURE MASON, THAT IS 100% A REASON TO SHOT A YOUR SON'S "BEST FRIEND", A TEENAGER, IN THE FREAKIN STOMACH
New Theory:
When MC mom died in freshman year, and she was a "zombie". Mason had no real outlet for his pain. He was helpless in helping his best friend and he was also mourning the death of MC mother....He got mixed in with the wrong crowd, dragged Noah (or Noah was also hurting if his father passed away around this time, so he fell in with wrong crowd) and did bad things.
They (Noah and Mason) get busted by the cops (or someone else) and because Mason's dad is the principal he was let off with no consequences.
Or he pushed the blame on Noah, and everyone believed him.
Or he also was found guilty but given a break (second chance) if he snitched or something.
He's lived with his guilt/anger and used his second chance to be a better person.
Noah the ghost of misdeeds past is here to wreck Mason life.
Why are they acting like being the principal is the best job ever invented? I don’t even understand how they’re rich from his dad being the principal, do they really make that much money? Mcs dad is literally a doctor or something, I’m not 100% sure exactly what he is, and seems to make less money than the high school principal.
I hope we can tell Mason off about destroying our friendship with Ava. MC think with your brain for a sec and not your private parts...
Let There be a Route Where Mason and Noah get Together if Mc chooses Ava.
- Noah is the first to accept them while it takes Mason a while to adjust
- The boys slowly accept to be in the same breathing space as the other
- After a while of tension Mason gets sick of the way Noah "figuratively" (;D) keeps him at arms length so he explodes wanting answers
- Mason apologizes for everything that happened between them, Noah eyes widen at his apology - then sighs apologizing for the way he's been handling everything - Mason shakes his hands saying that he deserves to react that way - it becomes battle of who actually deserves the apology until it cuts off with Noah's chuckle.
"Hey, we can never stop fighting even when it comes to dumb stuff like this."
*laughs* "Yeah, what's wrong with us?"
They look outwards until Noah nods at Mason
"Hey, Jennings?"
"Yeah?"
"You're not so bad, well, not as bad as I thought, I mean-"
*Chuckles* "Please, go on. You're really selling it."
*smirks* "You're an asshole."
"And you're a poet with compliments."
They looks back outward until-
"Hey, Harris?"
"Yeah?"
*blushes* "You're not so bad either."
*smiles gently* "Thanks"
- Time passes and people start to notice the two rival football players start to smile at each other, teasing and lightly pushing.
- Coach is always whistling Harris to stop distracting Mason with the whispering
- Mason had a crush on Noah for a while so he nervously flirts with him and finger guns - shortly after getting friendzoned repeatedly and unintentionally
- Noah runs his fingers through his hair, in thought until one day it hits him like a cement block. He shoves his face into his pillow for not realizing sooner.
- He confides to Mc and Ava since they both know Mason like nobody else
- Mason confides in Mc and she encourages him to stop waiting and go for it, so he does - he plans this elaborate plan with the football team to ask Noah to the dance
- Noah gets the cheerleaders involved to do a routine then have him on the stage asking Mason to prom with a boquet of flowers
- The football players drop a banner that says "prom?" in glowsticks with the football team throwing footballs in an arch (like a fountain) in front of it.
- They look at eachother dumbfounded before Mc pushes Mason up to Noah
- Mason draws him in for a deep kiss, they part out of breath until Noah smirks against his lips, whispering by his ear;
"does this make me your boyfriend now?"
"Yes- I mean no? What do you think?"
"I've never really been into the whole label thing but with you...I think I'm okay with it. If it's okay with you?"
*blushes* "Uh, yeah..I-I think I'm cool with it."
"Cool."
- Mr.Jennings still doesn't approve of the "Troublemaker" but it doesn't stop them.

You may dislike or hate me after this post, but I don’t mind MFTL MC. I mean she’s just a teenager who is figuring herself out. she develping her identity, and working out who she is. She knows cheer isn’t her thing. She’s developing/has a passion for photography.
As far as her sexuality. I think I’d handle it very similarly to her. Just imagine never having anyone show you the slightest hint that they like you, and then what seems like all at once, you have 3 people all vying for your attention. You like all of them but your feelings are so tangled, that you don’t know whether you feel love for one, two or all of them. If you strictly feel platonic about all them. If you even want to have your first ever relationship right now, let alone think about the first point of if your feelings go deeper than just being platonic. If you’re into just girls, like Ava. Into just boys. Are bisexual. Or something else.
Imagine going home thinking that will be your safe space from it all, but then those same 3 people keep showing up on your doorstep, on street corners... you go inside your home thinking your safe and can finally breathe, but then you have the pressure of your father wanting you to be perfect and innocent. Straight A’s to make him proud instead of making him proud by just doing your best.
Then the older brother of one of the guys you like, lands you and your sister in trouble and you end up in jail. Then later he resurfaces wanting to prove he’s “on the straight and narrow” but you know that’s probably not true, but you don’t want to be too harsh because that has a high possibility of upsetting the guy you like as he wants to believe his brother is changing for the better, even though you can tell his gut is probably throwing red flags at him too.
Then as it currently stands. You get humiliated in front of students by the principal because you and the two guys you like, where locked in the school over night and slept in because you didn’t have an alarm or anything. You’re just awoken by your principal shouting at you and now everyone thinks you done the dirty with those two boys, when that’s not true in the slightest. Okay, you kissed one of them but it didn’t go any further.
Her life is a mess and she must just want to scream at the world. I would handle things similarly in that kind of situation. We’ve all been there, we all have those moments where everything feels out of control and we make crappy decisions, but it’s not a reflection of who we really are. It just shows how we were thinking in that moment, at that time. I sure as hell wouldnt want to be judged just for growing up and making crappy decisions because my mind is a mess, I constantly feel like I have no room to breathe and I have 3 people that each time I give ine attention, the other two give me that look of disappointment mixed with hurt and betrayal. When I’m really not betraying them, I’m just being more flirty with the person I genuinely like, keeping my friendship with the other two just that. A friendship.
And I know, that there are things that run deeper. But on the surface... taking a step back for a second and looking at it for face value? Wouldn’t you be acting similarly? Of course you wouldn’t have made all the choices she’s made if this was your real life, but... are we really in a position to judge her every damn chapter?
Right cause I’m gonna spend 40 💎 for the boys to wear their own tops.
