i think it would take a few years for him to even as. not becasue of his trust issues it’s probably because he thinks that he doesn’t know how to ask. so he uses google but he ends up cuddling with you and he blurts it out. he would slide out of bed and he would give you the ring while he sits criss cross on the floor

i know it takes a long time to even date him, i feel like he is super self concious and he puts his full trust in a person after a long time so i would give it like 3 months for him to really feel committed to you and only you

he is super gentle. like he tries to not yell at you. his touches are always so light. like he always guides you through large crowds and he loves to be soft around you. he treats you differently. he smiles more often and he giggles at your jokes

they are warm and tight. he never really hugs you he just feels that you would go away if he lets go. he cradles your head and pulls you into his body.

he is not quick to drop the ily bomb. he likes to take his time with how he shows that he loves you. it will take him 3 months as well to say i love you. the way that he shows that he loves that you is usually through acts of service. he likes to do all that he can for you

i feel like he barely gets jealous. he just gets insecure but he never says anything about it. he gets more timid in public, he likes tugging onto the hem of your shirt to get your attention and to stop you from paying attention to others

they are actually quite rough sometimes. he likes taking his passion and giving it to you. he never is vocal about how much he loves you but he usually likes expressing it through his lips. his lips always taste like strawberry chapstick.

he would want a cat first, he needs to mentally prepare himself for a child. he was a person that would be weary about children but once he has one he gets super attached. i feel like he would actually have two kids, if he has a girl he spoils her and if he has a son he babies them.

he smells like coffee, like he drinks it like his life depends on it, he will pat your head to make sure that you feel energized so he will bring you a glass of whatever you want (unless it’s alcohol) he likes blasting lofi music, he likes slow morning so he tries to wake you up early

quiet nights are more his style. he likes winding down calmly. he has a tv show playing in the background as he plays animal crossing or minecraft. he would have a late night cuddle and hope that you fall asleep. he has insomnia so he can rarely sleep so to put him at ease he holds you
O - Open (how open are they about their feelings? how do they show that they trust you)
he trusts you so much. but he has a hard time letting you in on his own hardships. once he is on the pure verge of breaking down. i feel like he would start crying and he would beg for you to leave, but you have to stay for him. he needs to tell you about all the things that breaks him down

not as doting as you think he is he keepsmore tabs on you than actually follow you around, he likes having his space but he needs to know that you are safe at all times or he just kind of combusts and rushes to wherever he thinks you are, you are never getting hurt on his watch

quite forgetful about little details but he will always remember your anniversary. he remembers your favourite colour and favourite food but he doesn’t really remember all of the little things like what your mcdonalds order is

when the two of you were on your first date and the train broke down on the way back, he fell asleep on your lap and you just played with his hair, he complains that he wasn’t fully conscious but he remembers waking up but not daring to move cause you brushing his hair felt so nice

shinsou may look detached but he actually keeps tabs on you when he is away and can’t contact you in any way, he feels uneasy when you are at risk. he will always pull you behind him whenever you two face danger together and it is super cute fjfjdksl
T - Try (how many new things do you guys try?)

this boy will take you to new cat related places every week, that was where you got your first cat together, it was at a cat rescue centre (i mean theres one in my city so..) i feel like he would be willing to do all the things that you want and more only if you get him a red bull along the way
U - Ugly (what are some bad habits they have?)
he believes that he doesn’t deserve you. he truly believes you could’ve ended up with someone that would show you a fun time so he feels like he is the reason that you can’t have fun anymore which isn’t at all true
V - Vanity (how much do they think about their looks around you?)
i mean he tried to use concealer to get rid of his dark circles but other than that he freshens up he doesn’t exactly care much about his appearance, he usually just tries to make his breath smell pleasant
W - Whole (do they feel incomplete without you?)
he is more anxious, he feels so calm when you are around but the moment you are gone he gets so on edge, he just loves you and wishes the best for you all the time.
X - Xtra (a random headcanon)
the name of your cat is named angel. she is a white and light brown tabby cat and she was named angel cause of the on going joke that red bull gives you wings.
Y - Yearning (how clingy are they?)
he isn’t that clingy but he will want to see your face or hear your voice as often as he can. he understands that he isn’t the only important thing in your life but an ocasional phone call or text would suffice if you can’t see him
Z - Zzz (what are their sleeping habits?)
he drools in his sleep. like no matter how hard he tries he has a little bit of drool that comes out of his mouth whenever he falls asleep. he also never sleeps during the night, he just takes mini naps in the middle of the day
She doesn't turn to him, not even when she hears him stepping closer. Not when she can feel his warmth lick at her side. Not as he sits on the railing. She just stares out into the stars and relishes the breeze on her cheeks.
"Couldn't sleep. Figured some fresh air would be nice." She turns to him, cobalt eyes meeting carmen. "Why are you up? It's way past your bedtime."
She says that last part with a smile, that same one she gives him when he's caught staring, when he goes out his way to do something nice. It's a teasing smile, filled with secrets only the both of them know, the secrets and quick glances only they see.
He fights that fluttering feeling in his stomach with a scowl.
"Same as you," he shifts, knee brushing hers, burning fingers brushing over bare skin. It's comforting, as small as it is, to have him here.
They stay silent, as her fingers weave through his, calloused hands smoothing over the lines of his veins, the rough plane of his palm. "I dreamt of her again," her words are hushed, fluttering like feathers in the wind. "She looked so real, it felt so real. I tried running after her, but there was this wall of blue flames. I could hear her screaming, and for the life of me, my feet wouldn't move."
The tears mist her eyes before she has a chance to blink them away, emotion choking the words trapped in her throat. The breath she takes is shaky, unstable.
"Jordan...," his hand tightens around hers, another coming to rest of her neck, gentle fingers cradling her. "What happened was not your fault, alright? You need to understand what happened to the both of you wasn't your fault."
"Why does it feel like it then?"
"Grief does weird shit," he pulls her close, forehead kissing hers. He watches her, watches her close her eyes and lets herself fall into him. "One minute you're smiling at an old picture and the next you're sobbing on the floor. You can try to explain it away but it isn't going to bring her back."
He's right, she knows it. Deep down, she knows. But the surface of her wound is still raw and open. Too new to let it heal, too old to let it lie there to scar.
"...I miss her."
He pulls her even closer, so close his heat envelops her completely, a balm against the aching in her heart. He says nothing, but words aren't needed. Not for this.
