Imagine Kurogiri bringing you into the League without Tomuraās permission. Tomura canāt understand why Kurogiri would do such a thing. After all, while he canāt find any record of your Quirk, wouldnāt you boast about it if itās powerful? Dabi certainly brags to you about his flames - especially when he sees itās annoying Shigaraki.
Shigaraki continues to not want you in the League, both because of the fact he finds you flustering and because he honestly canāt understand why Kurogiri recruited you and is calling you a miracle sent from the heavens. What is your Quirk, damn it?
He finally finds out on the day he slips up and accidentally decays the dinner table entirely. Kurogiri looks to you, and you nod. For a moment, the air shimmers around your hand, and then a vacuum appears.
Without saying a word or batting an eye, you vacuum up all of the dust.
Ohhh, he thinks. So thatās why Kurogiri was so desperate to have you stay.
When you finish cleaning up the mess and deactivate your Quirk, Kurogiri stands up from the table and applauds you. Dabi joins in too, just to be a little shit. Shigaraki just rolls his eyes. Whatever. Itās not like heās changed his mind about you not being right for the League. Shigaraki now understands why Kurogiri adores you. Itās just that solving that mystery hasnāt led to solving the one where his heart rate speeds up when you smile.
Oh well. Heās sure heāll work it out some day.
