Snails! But not really. It’s phyllo dough stuffed with almonds and drizzled with honey. All you have to do is curl the unbaked stuffed dough and it comes out looking like this. So lovely and so good, this is my New Year’s dessert. It’s called M’hencha (an Egyptian recipe) and tastes just like my Romanian grandma’s turte.
