     And  he  would  love  to  grab  something      to eat. He kind of forgot to  eat  breakfast      and  he  forgot  to  make   a   bentou   for      himself.   All  because  he  got   up   late.      Today  was  just  one  of  those  days he      felt like he shouldn’t have woken up. But      at least he made  it  in  time  to  meet  up      with his double.

  &&.  just a little further-- !                      her eyes were alight with fixation upon the object of focus only centimeters from the tips of her delicate fingers, arms outstretched to their furthest point of reach. what lay floating in the water was none other than a light wool beret, its stark-white color contrasting greatly with river’s dark blue tinge-- ( blown without warning off her head and into the water as she’d been crossing the wooden bridge before her ). she hesitated briefly, free hand now gripping a small boulder for support, but as rin reached out once more, the rock shifted, coming loose from its nestled position in the soil and tumbling down at her side as she slipped into the water with a yelp.

          Goodbye isn’t lasting. What is believed to be of permanence is usually not, as even in death, the thought of one will always live on to defy the phrase. It is never goodbye until the heart believes it to be so. 

Foolish of her to have once believed it was a solution to a never-ending problem; to believe that a simple “goodbye” could mend the things that couldn’t be. Mikuo never even received her farewell note, as it’s been drifting in the lake and blotched by the elements. The humor was unbelievable. Its recipient had been wandering about thinking she vanished into thin air. But no. In fact, she was right here, resting on a higher branch of a cherry blossom tree that had just begun blooming, hidden under shades of sunlight. The fact he walked by was just chance, no? No. She knew this was along his route to Eumelia.

                        “Mikuo. Hey. I’m up here.                                                        --..   Have you forgotten about me yet?”
