We started to draw the frames from 10/12/13 to 11/12/13. We were so productive that we created more than 100 pages. I really wanted to keep drawing our animation quickly in order to see the movements soon. I forgot the cooperation until Alex told me, which is really good, because I already started to draw each story clip and Alex was drawing the transitions between the story clips, so I was controlling much of the animation style and Alex just do some factory works, which is really really bad and unfair, because we think out our story together, The Animation is our 'baby'.
It's necessary now that we swap the roles in order to merge our styles and see more possibilities and skills we are both good at.
Another thing we recognise yesterday morning is the ANIMATIC. Alex told me her animatic experience when she learned in Budapest that the animatic is actually a movement storyboard played in a proper time with all the sounds. So the animatic doesn't need to be a perfect fluent animation, but should present a whole complete story and atmosphere. After we understood this, it is more clear about what we are doing and we become more motivated to complete it now.
We also recorded some sounds with drums and piano yesterday. We both know what kind of sounds we want, so Alex play drums and I played piano. We both play the music together with the guide of the storyboard and then swap the musical roles. there are some really good mixes of the music recordings, so we are going to choose them and edit then in a proper way.
