I really need to catch up with arc-v so when I cosplay Crow again I know how to interact with all the arc-v characters I see.

I think I'm going to keep this url forever, But fair warning, this blog is going to gradually turn into a personal blog. Meaning instead of only posting yugioh/personal posts, I'm going to post about anything I feel like. There will still be a lot of yugioh, But there's going to be a bunch of other stuff too.

So I went to a comic store the other day and I was looking for Yugioh cards, but the store only sold Magic cards and I said to myself: "Well, they have pleanty of magic cards, but I don't see any spell cards!" And I just hear muffled laughter from behind the shelf I'm looking at and I go to see that it's an employee stacking comics who couldn't help but laugh at my lame joke and we ended up having a conversation about yugioh and it was a great time.

I don't know how someone can watch Yugioh and not see that Duke Devlin and Tristan Taylor were made for eachother.

Just a friendly reminder that all art requests that are not commissions/trades are not guaranteed to be completed.

Feel free to ask me for things, but I might just never get around to drawing them. Either because I do not have the time or I just don’t feel like it.

If I put a post that says “send me a [blank] and I’ll draw it!” and I don’t do yours, chances are I just got overwhelmed with asks and couldn’t draw every single one.

Commissions are open though, if you ever do want me to draw you something with a guarantee that it will be what you want and that it will be completed!

I just want you to understand that I am busy and a lot of things in my life come before fanart.

Jack Atlas did not ask for favors. 

If there was something in the world that he wanted, he went out and got it himself. He worked hard for it, sometimes failing once or twice, but getting up and going again, again, until doing it was as easy as breathing. Whatever he wanted, he got, through sheer force of will and stubborn determination, and nothing in the world would keep him from it. 

Crow guessed that it wasn’t the worst quality for a person to have. Even if Jack was kind of a layabout at times, with horrendously expensive tastes, at least he did still keep trying to get jobs. He went in, and tried, and got kicked back out of each one. He could appreciate that kind of effort. And even though Jack did simply sometimes take (to the point where he had his own monthly budget for coffee alone), when push came to shove, and times got rough, the money was still there at the end of the month. 

So when Jack was forced to take it easy, after his catastrophic crash in the WRGP, Crow made sure that he didn’t have to ask. He made no show of nursing, and didn’t quip that he had better be paid back later. He checked in on him when he was drowsy from the painkillers that he actually took for once, instead of squirreling them away in case they were ‘really needed.’ 

(Satellite habits died hard, so hard, and at times he swore he caught Jack adjusting food portions when it was his turn to serve up dinner so that Yusei and Crow had more.)

“How are you feeling, ‘your majesty’?” Crow asked when he caught Jack awake, bringing him some of the cup ramen that he cherished dearly. He set it aside when Jack didn’t reach for it immediately, and watched for any sign of immediate pain. 

“Disgusting,” he scowled in reply. “I haven’t been able to take a proper shower in days.” 

How deep did his pride run, that he wouldn’t even ask for help with that? To even forgo personal hygiene for the sake of not asking for a favor?

“Come on. You can’t just sit in bed until you grow mold.” Crow squawked, and to his surprise, Jack didn’t fight it. He leaned against Crow all the way to the bathroom, letting the smaller man lead the short steps so that no one stumbled or fell. 

“You’re just as bad as a nagging wife.” Jack grumbled. “And you don’t even provide any of the benefits.” 

So he wanted benefits, huh? It figured, with his stupid royal personality, that he’d want more than what he was already being given. Give a man an inch...

“You said it yourself. You’re disgusting. I’m not giving you even a kiss on the cheek until you’ve gotten yourself properly washed!” 

Though Jack scowled, he got the message, and without asking for any further help, he managed the task of getting himself cleaned up. 

After all, now there was something that he wanted. So he would keep going, pushing past pain with gritted teeth and raw determination. And he would not stop until he got his prize.
