Anyone good with audio?
My mic is peaking when I raise my voice. To do a dramatic experiment, cranked my compressor to 50 and while my audio is super quiet and compressed, I can STILL hear the buzz when I raise my voice! Help me!

I want a mic for singing/voice over/va stuff, and whilst I have been looking at the Shure SM58, i've heard that the MXL 990 Condenser is also really good.
Can someone steer me the right way? I'd appreciate it!
