Anyone good with audio?

My mic is peaking when I raise my voice. To do a dramatic experiment, cranked my compressor to 50 and while my audio is super quiet and compressed, I can STILL hear the buzz when I raise my voice! Help me!

Note: Issues

- shit mic

- I have a compressor filter

- I have the noise gate up but not active. (shitty headset)

- new mic is coming

- My mic is the suggested, fist space away

Me: Anyways... I should've been all like, "Fuckboi Message number 81: Hello. Fine weather we are having." But I did the polite thing and said hi back and he was all like, "So.. Are you open to meeting men?" And I mean like, I was just like, "I guess I'm open to meeting men. I'm just not open to meeting EASY men. Are you easy?" And he never responded.

Amy: Hmm...

Amy: Maybe instead of that, you should've been all like, "ERROR 404: Fuckboi Message number 81 NOT FOUND"

Me: Yeah... That would've probably been better.

Me: I mean, like... I guess men are cool, but pretty much every cis-man I've dated just brings too much drama, and I'm in a steady relationship now. I don't NEED that drama - especially bringing that into me and bae's thing. Besides, I prefer women and non-binary folk.

Amy: Yeah... And like... Isn't there a chance bae could be non-binary?

Me: Yeah! I mean, like, bae has a lot of self discovery things to do... But I don't doubt that they might actually fall along that spectrum.

Me: Y'know... Maybe someday, I should just build a palace and it will be a safe haven for trans and non-binary folk and we can just live at peace and maybe get into some naked cuddle-pile time?
