Today, April 25, Italy celebrates the 80th anniversary of its liberation from fascism. This year the (right-wing) government tried to silence the demonstrations by telling us to "celebrate with sobriety" because otherwise it would be offensive to the deceased Pope. Italy is a secular country. Fortunately they did not stop us this year either and we continued to demonstrate and will continue to do so. April 25 is not a "divisive" holiday, as our prime minister has repeatedly insinuated. It is only if you are a fascist.

Let us remember why our ancestors died and not let their sacrifice be in vain.

The Jubilee created so many problems in Rome, and Christians even had the nerve to justify an uncontrolled mass of disrespectful people by saying that "they're just young people happy to express themselves and their religion." Well, I wish I could do that too. I wish I could wander to Delphi to seek advice from the oracle. I wish I could celebrate the Panathenae, the real Olympics, or any other goddamn Greek festival, but sadly, BECAUSE OF THEIR FAULT, I can't. However, this doesn't seem to bother them, it never seems to have bothered them. Just as they weren't bothered by the fact that so many people had trouble getting to work (and consequent problems at work) (and not just at work) FOR A WHOLE WEEK because of their young Christians. But then again, they don't care about anything that doesn't affect their shitty religion.

Yesterday I spent the whole day trying to decide if it was the case to uninstall Instagram or not and this morning I woke up with a warning from IG where I was notified that Mr. Zuckerberg think my account is a bot and I could lose it permanently 😍🙏🏻

I know what I said in this post (and still mean it) BUT, honestly, I draw the line when, especially Christians (or non-pagans in general), sexualize our deities.

Like... I don't think they'd think it is funny or cool if I wrote something about fucking Jesus or something like that... I mean, you're still talking about deities. I think it's different if you write a retelling of a myth and you write explicit scenes between two gods or two mythological creatures than if you write something like, idk, a virgin priestess who gets "rewarded" by the God she dedicated herself to, that's REALLY disrespectful.

What do you think about Christian witches who also worship pagan gods?

I'm not going to respond to insults with insults, I'm not going to change my way of thinking and I'm not going to try to change your way of thinking. If I find a certain comment offensive, I will delete that comment and block the person who posted it)

I honestly think that, first of all, a "good Christian" would not call themself a witch, because witchcraft goes against Christian ideals. Nevertheless, I live in southern Italy, where popular magic is rooted in all families, with beliefs about the evil eye etc so I feel I'm not so strict about this concept that I just expressed. Second, if you're a Christian, you're a monotheist, you worship one god, otherwise you would go against the commandments of that god and that wouldn't make you a Christian. I don't transient on this. I'm "ok" with the modern witches who worship Archangels, work with Mother Mary and all these beliefs that I don't see myself in and that I don't want to have anything to do with. Believe whatever you want, that's your business. But you can't tell me that you are a Christian and that you worship other gods.

I will not argue beyond, peace and love.
