combatgearing.com's MICH2001 review
Hey everyone,
this is another review brought to you in part by combatgearing.com and it is of my MICH 2001. I hope no one minds but when I read a review for something I want the facts so that’s why I have laid my review out in such a formulaic way. I want to keep to the point and just lay it all out there for you. So here goes.
MICH 2001 does not come with helmet cover or NVG mount but can be found on combatgearing.com for very low prices.

- high quality fibreglass used
– easily integrated with larger comms

To sum this review up I would say for the price I got this helmet for its well worth the price and I am half tempted to buy a few more MICH variants. The straps although plastic are fantastic and I have to say more comfortable that the viper M88 by a long way. I also found that when using the helmet with optics due to it not having a peak was a lot easier. When I first got the helmet I was a little bit worried about using it in CQB due to its low profile when it comes to ear protection.
After using it I have had no problems with this and if anything I think this helmet is much better in CQB than my M88 as its smaller and gives better overall protection to my head due to the padding and thicker material (fibreglass).
The fact it only cost me £23 is a massive selling point and for the money you really can’t say no. I am almost 110% sure I will be buying more and the rest of combatgearing.com’s MICH helmets are all around the £22-£26/$37 for the basic model’s and a bit more for aftermarket accessories.
Thank you from me and Combatgearing.com for reading this review.
