A fight of the year candidate in Nottingham last night as Leigh Wood stopped Michael Conlan in the final round of a close and exciting fight. Wood wore white trunks with hunter green and gold trim, white Everlast gloves and white footwear. Conlan wore kelly green trunks with white and orange trim, white Fly gloves with orange and green thumbs and green footwear. As noted in earlier posts - both men’s trunks and robes were made by Suzi Wong.

Mick Conlan (17-1) was on the wrong end of the comeback of the year back in March, losing a wild war of attrition via 12th round KO against England’s Leigh Wood. He has since recovered with a bounce back win over Miguel Marriaga. He will look to rebuild his momentum this Saturday (Dec 10) when he faces Karim Guerfi (31-6).
