You loved to nap, it was an ongoing joke between you and Michael until it started happening WAYYY to often. “Mama I’ve got your food.” He called out making his way back towards the living room with a plate of fries and a cheeseburger you asked for. But you were out like a light on the couch, mouth wide open as soft snores filled the quiet atmosphere.
He furrows his eyebrows, just five minutes ago you two were chatting it up about that restaurant you both went to on the first date, he lets out an annoyed but content huff—you looked so peaceful in your sleep. He bends down over you and places a kiss on your forehead, “sleepyhead.”
Another time, you two were on the way to an event he was invited to and he wanted you to come as his date you both took loads of pictures before getting into the car with bill, “michael we should totally get milkshakes after this.” you say to him, letting your head rest against his shoulder he let’s out a short snort. “Milkshakes? I was thinking about that mean spaghetti, what about both?” He questions, in which he doesn’t get a response causing his eyes to travel down to you.
“ ‘Course you’re sleep.” He murmurs against your head. The car comes to a complete stop as bill turns to the back. “We’re here Mikey.” Michael places a kiss atop of your head. “We’ll be out just give us a second.” Bill nods leaving the both of you alone. Michael lets you sleep against him in the car for another hour before actually going into the event.
At a family get together, You had met his family a good amount of times forming a great bond with his siblings which—you were currently deep in conversation with latoya as michael came over and handed you a plate along with his mother greeting you with a kiss placed on your head. “Hi Katherine.” You smile.
After awhile you had excused yourself to the bathroom but shortly found your way to Michael’s old bedroom and empty promising yourself you’d just rest your eyes but, you ended up napping in his bed. EVERYONE was looking for you, Michael frantic, “Where was she last?” “Did she leave?” “Michael you should keep up with her!” Someone bursts into his room causing you to stir awake, and there he was, A big weight of relief washed over him. “damn it, there you are mama.” he rushes to your side. “Always napping, you tired?”
You look up at him, eyes still filled with sleep. “Calm down jeez, why’d you come in here like that?” You huff, fingers coming up to brush his cheek. He surrenders into your soft touch. “whole house was lookin’ for you baby, told me you were just going to the bathroom.”
Michael had flew the two of you out for his upcoming tour and loads of interviews, you were currently propped up against the hotel pillows watching his live interview now and they were all just questions about his relationship with you, the media always got so nosey.
“How’s the relationship going?” He smiles to himself, “going good I love her, she loves me, I’m happy.” the interviewer flips through a page, “any children? marriage soon?” his face flushes red, “well we haven’t talked about it yet but—“ your face also heats up. “oh, well is she out here with you?” He nods, “yeah she is. she’s probably out like a light, sleeping.” He snorts, “Really? She must nap a lot—odd combination, most busiest man in the world being with an always sleeping lady, how is that?”
You grin waiting for his answer, “I get by, she’s a pretty sleeper.” You bury your face in your hands, “haha, well we should let you go wake her—that’s all folks, michael will see everyone on his first show tonight!”
He comes back to the hotel to find you awake, magazine wide open, coffee on the nightstand. “I stand corrected.” He teases, he immediately removes his jacket and shoes before hopping in bed with you. You smile, “missed me?” he grins, “all the time, sleepyhead.” You peck his lips, and he pecks yours back silently begging for more kisses. You press a light kiss to his cheek before turning back to your magazine, “Hey!”
