thank goodness women are back taking over fantasy and scifi (and so many woc too), outside of Steven Erikson I dont trust any dudes writing women. also the man spoiled me for how he writes for black characters in fantasy/scifi, so me starting with his books at 19 is why I dropped all other male fantasy writers for the past 20 years (yes that includes GRRM - wonderful prose (for the first 3 books) but his creepiness crept in far too often).
