jason mendoza is the premier example of how younger generations prize dumb but kind > intelligent but rude as fuck.

our generation will literally look at someone somebody else said “is sooooo smart” and be like, “yeah, but are they kind tho? do they care about others? are they gracious? thankful? loving? supportive?”

perceived and traditionally celebrated intelligence isn’t the be-all-end-all of how to value a person to us. you can be the smartest person in the world but if you’re an asshole, you can keep it.
