Bar Redux & T'Lark Present Singer-Songwriters Spotlight Singer-Songwriters Spotlight is a monthly show in the vein of VH1 Storytellers. The host has the guest share the writing process and influences. This month features T'Lark, Michael DiMarco, and Blue Fox. T'Lark- is a young, talented singer/songwriter who was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She studied voice/music at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and traveled all over the world playing music. An eclectic group of current and past musicians have influenced her compositions. She has recently returned home to her New Orleans roots and looks forward to becoming immersed in the New Orleans music scene! Michael DiMarco - Typically behind the drums, Michael DiMarco is making his way to the front of the stage with his own music. Inspired by bands including Incubus, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pink Floyd, and Foo Fighters, his style is a mash-up of genres spanning from rock and blues, to funk and electronic. Michael is showcasing acoustic versions of his progress while writing his first original album. Luke Oleen-Junk- has been writing and performing music since the age of twelve, and keeping it real, keeping it 100 since he was in the womb. His influences include Nas, Thomas Pynchon, Johnny Thunders, Prince, and stand-up comedy, none of which he actually resembles. He fronts local, baby-fresh rock'n'roll trio Landladies and plays bass for psych-punks Jack & the Jackrabbits. Join us for an intimate evening of original songs & storytelling on our lovely covered

This month features T'Lark, Michael DiMarco, and Blue Fox.

T'Lark- is a young, talented singer/songwriter who was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She studied voice/music at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and traveled all over the world playing music. An eclectic group of current and past musicians have influenced her compositions. She has recently returned home to her New Orleans roots and looks forward to becoming immersed in the New Orleans music scene!

Blue Fox- Blue Fox is a well-rounded entertainer who has performed at numerous venues throughout the country who is a true Bluesman.  In 1984 Blue moved to the Boston area and made his living playing in Harvard Square and clubs around the City. He was a regular at the blues jams and studied guitar with Paul Rishell. He has been playing around NOLA and has just finished a 2 month weekly residence at Bar Redux.
