Frida kahlo's visit to The Taybridge Bar
Michael Marra and Frida Kahlo are in the same room. Sketching for a piece based on the Michael Marra song 'Frida kahlo's visit to The Taybridge Bar' which to my mind is quite possibly one of the best song titles ever.
What an amazing woman! Was incredibly moved to hear her story…spoken with such honesty, depth and humour. And thrilled that she chose one of our tracks as one of her Desert Island Discs!!! Fair to say, she chose it because it was Michael Marra, but he is also one of my favourite artists of all time. I was even more thrilled that, when asked by Kirsty Young which track she would save if she could only keep one, Liz chose our one!
