Sit down before you hurt yourself.
“Oh? Where was it?”
michael-trinity is amazing. He takes a fan-unfavorite minor character and writes him in a way that fits in flawlessly with canon - and makes you feel really bad if you jumped on the hate bandwagon. He has a special kind of skill - striking a balance between the creativity to expand on characterization, and just knowing how to clearly show and make one appreciate what was already there and went mostly unnoticed.

“I'd like to give a shoutout to the mun for @shani-andras, @clotho-buer, @orga-sabnak, and @michael-trinity. They've taken minor characters and have gone above and beyond in developing them. They are also a fantastic and thoughtful writer!”

Adrenaline from the altercation with Ali al-Saachez coursed through Setsuna's veins even as al-Saachez sped away. Trans-Am. Aeolia Schenberg entrusted the Trans-Am system to the Gundam Meisters. To Setsuna. What did it mean? He scanned the horizon for any sign of the remaining two thrones. Johann's machine lay wrecked on the ground with no life signs emanating from it. Nena's Throne was nowhere to be seen. Setsuna quietly felt relieved. Taking her back to the Ptolemaios was not something he particularly wanted to do, no matter how much information they could get out of her. Al-Saachez had Michael's Throne, which meant that Michael was probably dead. Setsuna was about to speed back off to join the others, when he spotted a blue-haired figure crumpled on a patch of grass. He zoomed in for a closer look. There was blood, but not a lot. An indicator flashed. Michael Trinity was unconscious, but alive. Setsuna hesitated. Should he leave him here? The Trinitys weren't part of the plan, and Michael Trinity was in no state to be useful to them. Still. Could he just leave him there to die? Was he the source of twistedness in this world, or was he just a pawn? Screw it. Exia touched down next to Michael's body. Setsuna grabbed his first aid kit and descended out of his Gundam. He quickly inspected Michael. A gunshot to the chest. How was Michael Trinity still alive? The bullet must have missed his heart by a hair's breadth. He was breathing, but struggling. This was beyond Setsuna's basic first aid skills. He did his best to patch up the open wound and injected him with the "magic potion", as Dr. Moreno called it. It was a painkiller combined with other compounds. Setsuna was told to use it if he was ever badly injured, so this was probably the right situation for it. Well, this was all he could do. He picked Michael up and carried him unsteadily towards Exia's tow rope, hoping that the process of getting him into the Gundam wouldn't kill him. Getting the heavier pilot into Exia's cockpit was a major struggle. One slip, and he'd end up on the ground below. Thankfully, Setsuna pulled it off. Michael was still breathing, so Setsuna secured him as best as he could in the meager spare room available and took off. "I have Michael Trinity with me," Setsuna announced as he guided Exia into the Ptolemaios, "but he's in bad condition." "Roger," chirped Christina. "I'll tell Dr. Moreno!" Several hours later, Dr. Moreno announced that Michael Trinity was in stable condition in a regeneration pod. The gunshot had cauterized everything in its path. If the shot had been a couple of millimeters to one side, it would have struck his heart and he would have been dead. Now they just had to wait for him to wake up. Full regeneration treatments to heal all of the damaged tissue would come later, *if* he cooperated. michael-trinity
