Elephant Ceramics
Elephant Ceramics is a online website owned by the talented Michele Michael. She designs and makes porcelain and stoneware ceramics by hand. She is home designer, based out of Maine for the summer and Red Hook, Brooklyn the rest of the year, who is excelling in the world of ceramics creating different pieces for many well known publications. She experiments and works a lot with textures. Through her glazing she has a painters eye and enjoying dripping, pouring, brushings, and combing transparency and opaqueness to the pieces. Each and ever piece of hers has a unique shape and color that are tastefully different but go so well with one another. Her work is distinct and very eye grabbing when viewed. I really enjoyed being able to her work and the beautiful detail that each one is crafted with.
