In the Blue Shield segment, Firebolt (Roxxon) was introduced, created by Len Kaminski and Greg Capullo. In the Captain America segment, it was revealed that Dominic Fortune was considered for the Super-Soldier formula but was rejected. The issue saw the deaths of Firebolt and Apalla.
