it had been an honest mistake, letting her hand drop from the table to idly pat at their thigh. mickey has never been overly tactile but social situations aren't where she excels and the comfort of a person, even in a room full of friends, is something that she often seeks. if only the person tucked beside her wasn't her ex. "sorry!" she blurts after a moment, snatching her hand back as if scalded, "i was... in my own world."
