What if authors prefaced their books like we preface our fan fic. Like "ok I swear I can write other stuff besides tragedies but where is the fun in that??? Points if you catch the dick jokes" -Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

anyone else think lil Dicky seems like a real asshole
so many fuckers on here acting proud about never having seen game of thrones like its a personality trait like chill it’s a tv show not a declaration of morality
i accidentally bought 2-ply instead of 1-ply and i feel the guilt of using an unnecessary luxury with every wipe
Don’t fall into a black and white mindset
The big bro bodybuilders might be the sweetest dude you have ever met, and the nerdy feminist dude might be a narcissistic asshole. Don’t place people into the stereotypes our youth builds for us, and just because someone is one thing, doesn’t mean they aren’t another

A Queer Girl’s Experience with Straight Men
I’ve dated two different guys and let me tell you why growing up on this hellscape has totally warped my perception of men and why I think making generalizations can be harmful, especially for the younger audience like I was
The first guy I dated looked exactly like a tumblr boy and hit all the checkpoints this website has arbitrarily put in place as markers of a “good” man. He was a singer, Brazilian, chubby, wore bow-ties, and didn’t place to much stock in having to prove his masculinity. The second guy I dated was a giant, muscly gymbro who was raised in a very heteronormative town that wasn’t particularly diverse. Guy one looked perfect on paper. Guy two looked like the embodiment of white male asshole.
Guy one ended up putting me on a pedestal and seeing me as a prize and once he realized I was too confused about where I fell on the romantic spectrum to let him win me, he dropped me not just as a potential partner but as a friend.
Guy two prioritized my respect and friendship over everything, even if it meant there would be a chance he would never get to be with me. He listened to me describe where I fell on the romantic spectrum and even if it wasn’t ideal for him he respected me and wanted to be in a relationship anyway.
Guy two listened and accepted and celebrated my queerness, Guy one was waiting for me to get over my queerness so he could get his prize.
TL;DR: Basically, don’t listen to what this website tells you are the markers of a good guy because good people don’t all look the same and people can surprise you.
