Well, it’s done. Verdict- decals are NOT good for this kit. The decals are used extensively. And while some of the stickers do fit well, most of them are bad news for assemblers. For the next one- a mix of paints and decals application. So. Did I manage to color the parts white without using paint? Well..... no. Hahaha. Used various weathering tools, but to no avail. However, the TIEs’ wings look powdery now. Much like the fighters in the First Order Starkiller Base battle. Not to worry, I have another set of the micro kits. Will be using paints with those kits. For sure. Just that for this set, I’ll just use the decals provided and weathering tools. Been progressing with plenty of Star Wars microkits, and I overlooked this. Time to backtrack and complete this...
