So. Did I manage to color the parts white without using paint? Well..... no. Hahaha. Used various weathering tools, but to no avail. However, the TIEs’ wings look powdery now. Much like the fighters in the First Order Starkiller Base battle. Not to worry, I have another set of the micro kits. Will be using paints with those kits. For sure. Just that for this set, I’ll just use the decals provided and weathering tools. I just love these Star Wars micro kits by Bandai. They may be tiny, but details are never compromised. Been building them straight out of the box. Used their decals, and not painted. Just weathered effects. And they still look great! (And I do have another set of these micro kits, to be painted and done properly... heh) This Star Destroyer is the latest one I’ve done.
