Destroying Angel - Amanita bisporigera

The first time I tried to take a spore print of one of these angels, the mushroom liquified into a pool of maggots. I thought that was very appropriately metal (and sexy) of this mushroom, and that this possibly indicated that I was living inside a horror movie, and this was the point where the audience was screaming at me to "get rid of the fucking mushrooms, IDIOT."

So, I only let this mushroom sit for two hours and here we are: faint, but lovely white print.

FRIDAY...

... when everyone had expected the city of Fenrir’s Wood to be shaken up by another murder, everything stayed quiet. Eery quiet. MALEE APINYA was locking up her tattoo shop when she felt the strangest urge to sit down in front of it. She managed to shake off the feeling, and quickly closed before making her way home faster than she usually would. Her body jerked to a stop in front of a dark and small alley way.

Set the strugglers free.

A voice sang to her from the darkness, a mechanical and almost robotic voice. It repeated its cry three times, before MALEE APINYA could move her body again, finding nothing followed her on her way home, and nothing out of the ordinary happened the days after, though she was ready for anything.

It’s mid August and I can’t wait for the Halloween posts to start rolling around again as everyone complains that “it’s still August you fiends!”
