Been working on some illustrations for this project. 

My aim for this brand is to show the meaning behind middlekid. That everyone, no matter who you are will go through at some point in their lives that transition period into adulthood. Being a middlekid is about the progression in different stages in different peoples lives. 

Still working on putting together a lookbook. Photoshoot images to soon follow.

I keep myself tightened with shoe laces and sticks of glue. Pressing myself against the only solid thing I can, ducking into dark corners and behind curtains. I wish I could harness the strength of the Lord to rip up the carpet and burrow underneath. Everyone is loud. Clay made faces and painted smiles, the room is stiff and I'm so very scared. Blood curls out from the palms of my hands, crescent moons leaking onto my dress. I have to gather all of me. Walking through land minds and wine glasses, I press my palms into napkins. Everyone is loud. Shame pours from my eyes and I take a leap. Sliding beneath the table, gripping my blue napkin shields, I pull the cloth down. My eyes scrape over every spot I touched, I cannot leave a path of disgust behind. My hands are held together and I'm praying to God that he saves me. Flies from the heavens and kisses my palms to drag me up and up and up. I stay hidden underneath a foldable table. No one tries to look for me.
