A quick bite to break the fast before my first student comes. One of my better habits implementations as I #beginagain, has been eating more consistently. When I coached with @sisterhoodofstrong she talked about this often, besides the way her #workouts are set up you HAVE to eat. 😁😅😆 We think we're doing ourselves good by not eating, but the truth is we're not. Theresa made me realize that my body is craving nutrients. Well suh! So on days I'm short on time, I work very hard to get something in my body at a minimum a smoothie or banana. Realizing that the best of me is not what you see on the outside, but how I care for that on the inside. *There is guava in my smoothie today. #MindfulMonday Morning! I want to set you free this Monday. Speed doesn't always equal progress. Progress isn't always speedy. Society fools us into believing faster is progress, faster is forward, faster is quick. Chile that's a hot mess of a lie! I for one, no longer subscribe to these thoughts and have benefited from slow and steady more in this season of life than I have anything from lightning speed. Today consider what gets you in a rush, what makes you THINK faster is forward. Gradually work towards eliminating or placing boundaries around that which makes you hurry and hustle. Trust me! You'll be glad you did.
