Forgot to say, the Darkwave AND Gothic Rock band I gave a chance to today that I really, really liked is Midnight Darkwave!

Finally some good fucking vampiric Gothic Rock and Darkwave with a 90s flare. They started out doing Blutengel covers, and then branched out into their own stuff.

(For some reason the tracks of Ancient Strigoi appear in YouTube and Spotify under the artist name Ancient Strigoi, but on Midnight Darkwave's Bandcamp it appears as theirs and there's no Bandcamp artist under that name, so I assume it was a mistake in the other platforms.)

Really rich in sound, dynamic, songs don't fucking sound all the fucking same, not flat, fun, just the right amount of campy, and all around great music.

Bummed out to learn Midnight Darkwave and Moonvampire are AI generated - I've posted a few of their jams on here. Although I suppose those band names gave it away from the jump, and I just wasn't paying close enough attention.
