“If you wanted to join in on the bonfire you could just come over.” Sour Cream said leaning on the rock and looking at the girl behind it. He’d noticed her earlier and figured that sooner or later she’d come over. When she didn’t he finally decided to go to her. It was darker over here then it was over by the bonfire but he could make out a few things about her.

“Lapiiiiiiiiiis.”
The whine was sourced from a very tired Aliikai -- or Lee -- Lazuli, older than her identical twin sister by five minutes and, at the moment at least, whinier by a long shot. The teenager crashed onto the couch where her twin sat, landing in a sprawled position with her head in Lapis’ lap and her right arm flung sloppily across her own forehead.
“Everybody in the world sucks except me. And maybe you sometimes.” She flailed her arm so that it was dangling off the couch, speaking in a melodramatic tone. “I still think we should just ditch society and live in that one abandoned shack on the beach for the rest of our lives.”

Many things were left in ruin after Homeworld was defeated and most left Earth, causing some rather odd sights to be found. One such place of ruin was a sort of old transportation hub, with the halls that once teemed with many gems moving around was now empty.
The sight did seem eerie, with various gem machines shut down and now left to rust on the ground. One has to wonder how long this place was abandoned, no doubt full of a few secrets here and there.
