✨ = How important is family to your muse?

{Family is easily one of the most important things to Tristan. In all verses where he has a partner and/or children, he cites them as being the most significant influences in his life. Being married and being able to raise children are aspects of his life that he views as both a strong ‘dream’ of his as well as a source of hope and happiness.

Leondas has always been extremely manipulative, it only worsened when he became a vampire. It’s part of his nature to be a trickster, in order to lure prey in. Truly, he manipulates just about everyone he meets in some way, even if he doesn’t necessarily mean to. It just comes so naturally to him. He is so concerned with himself and his own desires that he would manipulate anyone in order to get what he wants.

I would say he is very effective at it, given his rather attractive features and natural charisma. Even if those don’t work, he can use his vampiric charm to hypnotize others.

He gives a nod to acknowledge he had heard the other man, though his fingers draw delicate lines across the many rows of books instead of commenting. For all of its appeal, most libraries were lacking in the presence of a genuine company. Besides a few of the educated elite shuffling past to acquire some text for their research, it seemed like Tristan and this man were the only two people around. 

“I suppose even the most promising spaces lose their appeal after too many visits.” He speaks finally, glancing up just long enough to see that his companion hadn’t interpreted his pause as a lack of interest. 

“Do you venture to these spaces often yourself?”

He looks onwards. The warm glow of the entire theatre washing over him. How strange it felt to be out for once. Though still unused to the condition inflicting him, the lure of company beyond the maid had brought Tristan to his private box for a night. 

With a keen eye, he watches the other figure who had been placed beside him. Alone as well, or so it would seem. 

“Some things leave a scar upon our tongues. We taste them forever. Recalling and regretting each sunset.” He looks out at the stage although the performance had yet to begin. Searching for a reason not to look over. Not to lean in and allow this stranger a better look at the pale sheen of his flesh now.

“You regret attending this evening I take it?” He inquired with a slight scoff.

While his outward expression might not have been so convincing, Leondas did not enjoy seeing his fellow vampire slain in such a manner. True, he was not exactly hospitable toward his own kind at times, but it wasn’t comforting to see them cut down like animals by those deeming themselves holier.
