So I used to be into RWBY waaay back when the first seasons came out, and then dropped off at the end of season 3. Does it still hold up?

It's gotten better and better, especially visually and naratively!! The end of Volume 3 was a big tone-shift, I personally think they made sense of it and held it up pretty well since then! The characterization and the overall worldbuilding gets deeper and deeper, more mature and serious, but pretty well balanced with the fun/exciting vibes from the early volumes. You should def try to give it another go to see if you like it or nah! :)

Well, the Baron is technically a weird cat statue that got a soul, not an actual cat. So the human potter that made the Baron is probably the one responsible for that and -- OMG that doesn’t make it less weird. Also this whole story is, like, the story of Haru not being sure if she’s a furry or not. 

Marry a cat prince? No. Well, maybe. NO. Aww, Yuki is so pretty. WAIT NO. Aw, the Baron is charming. WAIT WHAT?!

Affection, one way or another -love it when characters portray affection very differently- and mutual trust, equal amounts of respect, care and general well-meaning. Friendship!!!

16. Would you rather own a cabin by the woods, a country home, a condo by the beach, or an apartment in the city?

Depends on where I’m living! If I’m still on my little island, I’d prefer the city since there’s   n o t h i  n g    anywhere else and I’d have to go there all the time, anyway. Also, beaches? Not really the best thing when you’re so far north. Cold as hell and the salt sticks to the windows.If I was in, say, America, I’d totally want a beach condo holy shit. I LOVE the ocean when it doesn’t try to kill you upon contact.

may i ask why youre thinking of moving to la? is it art related? i remember your time in canada that didnt end well, so i really hope california treats you better.

Well my time in Canada/Toronto was cut short because I couldn’t stay there legally anymore and I had to go back to France to see my family, so I couldn’t come back once I left basically. So it didn’t end poorly per se, just prematurely! Life and work-wise, it worked REALLY well lmao

And I’m planning (key word here) on moving to LA for work primarily, yes. And secondly, for social reasons. I do have a lot of friends there that I haven’t seen in forever, or never. But also work contacts, and while working remotely/from France works as a freelance artist, it always helps to be “on location”. Most of my biggest jobs and contracts came from various production companies primarily in the TV and movie business. That was why I moved to Toronto last time, and why I really should move to LA now!

But for a move that big and in THAT city, I need like, $20k in savings lmao. So I gotta work my ass off and save before i plan anything, i won’t get there for another few years i’m pretty sure! It’s not an immediate thing at all! :)
