Does your OC enjoy hugs? What do they do as a show of affection for: their friends, their family, their significant other(s) or for strangers? Over all what are they like with receiving affection from others?

Corwyn enjoys hugs, however he’s pretty skittish to going immediately to physical affection but more so just him touching others because he doesn’t want to creep or gross others out. He loves receiving affection a lot, he kind of is very touch starved after being alone for a couple hundred years in self isolation. He usually hugs back tight, hiding his face in someones chest/neck depending the height situation, just very cuddly almost immediately as soon as someone basically shows theyre okay with it by starting it.  

How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need?

Corwyn feels miserable even if its a tiny bit unwell, he acts like he’s dying which is so dramatic but when its actually serious he kind of just lethargic and in bed and trying to sleep it off completely instead of whining. Usually he’s alone and needs to help himself and needed to do that when he was alone in his castle when it was just him after what happened. Corwyn probably would like to be doted on and cared for. If you give him attention he probably isn’t going to whine.  Corwyn taking care of someone would be like that clumsy nurse archtype because he doesnt actually know anything about helping people and he’s a mess. He kind of just, makes soup and then gives it to you, he doesn’t know how to break a fever, he doesn’t know how to properly bandage someone if its more than a bandaid. He’s kind of useless in that endeavor besides kind of knowing what to do if someone has lost a lot of blood. 

What way does your OC show that they care without using words? What way do others show your OC that they’re cared about without using speech?

Corwyn usually does gifts or acts of service to show they care without using words. He worries about physical affection sometimes and if maybe they just aren’t feeling like touching him or him touching them and so he usually skirts around the thought and leaves gifts or does things like doing the dishes, cleaning the windows, tidying the room, etc. Corwyn genuinely probably would like being told but he would like gifts of jewlery or them using physical affection to him like petting his head, holding his cheek, kisses, hugging him. He’s kind of desperate. 

Who are this characters friends and found family? How did they meet, how long have they been friends for, could they ever be something more than just friends? What do they look for in a friend or a romantic partner?

Corwyn doesn’t have any of those, he’s quite friendless and unpopular considering how he acts. Corwyn if he were to look for something in friends would probably be someone understanding and maybe someone with more strength of will than his that can kind of stand up for him. He admires strength and force of will. A romantic Partner probably someone who definitely will stand up for him and protect him even though he still kind of feels guilty for wanting that when he couldn’t protect his past partner.

Fugo never thought it was a problem to have a girlfriend older than him; he always was more mature than his own age and never felt really at ease with his peers. But she… she’s different. From his past mistakes, however, he has learned that bottling up all these feelings and doubts would just lead them both to suffer, so he talks about it with his s/o, open and honestly. He’s baffled when she just smiles and says him that what they have is absolutely perfect and there’s no rush: they proceed to the next step when he’ll feel ready. For now, cuddles and smooches are more than enough and she giggled, when Fugo proceeds to give her enough cuddles and smooches to make her smile the biggest smile of the world.

Once he feels ready, he tells his s/o, even if a bit nervous. Her gentle smile, however, helps him to calm down. He’s with her, nothing can go wrong, if they’re together… and she knows he’s nervous, so she proceeds slowly, at little steps. Finally the rush of messages calmed down here! I was waiting to send you smth! Welcome back! Can I ask for Melone with a usual stoic s/o that don't like physical contact that much (due to trauma) starting to be really affectionate and giving him all the love she wanted to before.

It was a cold night, the winds were heavy and rain pounded against the windows of La Squadra’s little hideout. No one but you and Melone occupied the typically cramped space, relaxing with some take out on a pull-out couch in the common room. It was the ideal night for a cuddle session and it was killing him not to be initiating it.

Melone is a man who lives for physical affection. He adores the feel and the warmth of having another body pressed against his own. He’s no stranger to being pushed away for getting too up close and personal.

When you’d first recoiled from Melone’s advances - long before you’d even gotten together - he hadn’t taken it so seriously. He’d tried again, but you continued to push him off. The second time, with more conviction and he could have sworn, for just a moment, that your typically cold had cracked slightly and shown just the slightest twinge of pain flashed across your face. He took the hint and backed off. He still made himself a nuisance to you, flirting and bothering you because that’s just what he does, but he kept to his word and refrained from touching for the most part.

That’s why he was behaving himself. He’d moved as close to you as you’d usually allowed while you were finishing off the last bits of the food you two had been sharing through the night. He was used to you holding a more neutral expression, but something had been just a little off with you.

He’d managed to catch you twice, shifting your gaze his way and looking like you wanted to say something, but then averting your gaze before you quickly turned away.

“Looks like you got something on your mind.” He finally spoke up after about the third time. “What’s wrong?”

“No. It’s- it’s nothing. I’m fine.” Truth be told, there was something you’d been considering for some time, but weren’t sure how to go about it. Or if you even should. You knew you’d been very closed off to Melone, dismissive of his advances and invitations to share in each other’s warmth. It honestly made you feel bad, especially since you really did want to share in his affection. It was just… difficult at times. You were glad he understood that. It would be awkward at this point, you thought. Maybe there was another way to go about it.

You avoided his gaze while trying to figure this out. You knew you weren’t always easy to read to most people, but Melone had a way of getting in your head, sometimes.

As you’d expected, he figured you weren’t being entirely truthful as evidenced by the pout on his face. “Come now, amore. You know I know you better than that.” Melone shifted his position to face you. “Tell me.”

“It’s nothing. Really.” You lied once again. “Hmm, well… I am a little cold right now.”

“Hm, want me to get a blanket?”

“No. No. It’s ok.” There was a beat of hesitation before you inched a little closer to him and leaned your head up against his chest, catching him by surprise. “I’ll- be fine like this.”

You could feel Melone’s heart trying to burst from his chest. As was your own, but probably for a different reason than his. Melone brought one of his arms around you to pull you up against him. He half expected you to pull away, but you didn’t. Instead, you snuggled in closer, wrapping your arms around his waist and he let out a pleased hum. It was still very odd for you, but not as terrifying as you were afraid it would be.

“Feeling affectionate, amore?” He mused, breaking your thoughts.

You giggled in response. “Are you complaining?”

“Absolutely not. Just want to know if you’d like to get more comfortable.”

You cocked an eyebrow at the remark. “More comfortable how, exactly?”

Melone maneuvered you two into a more comfortable position. He was lying under you, your chests pressed firmly against one another and his hands were wrapped around the curve of your back. There was a very wide smile on his face as he looked you in the eye. “How’s this?”

“Di molto.” You giggled, a warm smile gracing your face as you pressed a kiss to his lips. You honestly couldn’t remember the last time you’d let your guard down so much. It was a strange, but nice feeling, as you leaned more into your boyfriend’s hold. You’d been together for so long and you were eager to make up for all that lost time.
