i was on campus today from 8:30am until 9:45….. 😀
So anyways I’ve got an exam at in an hour that I’ve been trying to study for since 6am and exceptionally failed at
And then I also have an exam at noon. Still unable to study in advance for it.
Basically what I’m asking for is cute animal pics and/or fluffy fics to cheer me up afterwards😅 would very much appreciate
not convinced that this is the best way to plan an essay, would not recommend for everyone
i just had an oral exam for my intermediate ancient greek class and i can’t believe that i survived. i feel like i’m dreaming

I’ve hit my peak productivity at the climactic moment of .. 11pm!! And I have an 8am tomorrow!! And a midterm!! Wish me luck xx
These past few days for me have been very strange? I’ve gotten into yet another lull in my research where I’m trying to figure out everything “on the ground”, and just struggling per usual. Missed class; I think I’m burning myself out a little. I’ve learned from these past few weeks that I need to slow down and that slowing down is okay.
Just a reminder how much I love posting on my blog, and how it helps me to reflect on life and the things I’m doing, but also reflect on the little and basic things like my normal needs and what music I’m listening to. :)
Tomorrow’s to-dos: ✧ Study for my FR midterm!! Complete study guide and finish readings! ✧ Draft statements of purpose and faculty emails if you have time ✧ Plan San Diego trip! (I need it tbh!!)
Tracker: ✧ Mood: 70% happy (but maybe it’s the caffeine) 30% overwhelmed ✧ Energy: 30% ✧ Sleep: 7h ✧ Listening to: 2018 ✧ Water: 5 glasses ✧ Medicine: still behind - leave it on my desk so I’ll remember! (*cough cough I have hypothyroidism if y’all were curious cough cough*) ✧ Skin-care: I veered far from routine and did a hemp mask last night, massaged bio-oil into my face?? and then spent an hour looking up DIY face masks with strawberries, honey, and baking soda. Not going well-- ✧ What made me happy today: talking to important people in my life ✧ What made me proud today: realizing I can still be productive and get things done without burning myself out -- and nonetheless (very important for everyone doing this challenge in general) productivity can range from anything to getting everything done on your to-do list to simply making your bed in the morning; when we over-define our productivity we beat ourselves up. Productivity is productivity and we should consider our needs and our health before anything else <3

spooky changes
when i was little spooky season meant trick-or-treating, candy, ghost stories, costume parties, and planning the perfect halloween costume. now it means that it’s midterm season and the only scary thing is the amount of caffeine my body is running on right now, and how i can function with so little sleep. don’t waste your childhood, because it turns into adulthood really fast. have fun while it lasts.
