Will Midvein's sister appear in the comic or is she on earth?
She's not on Earth! She is already on an Earth colony with the rest of their family. It's where the Hauler Ship is headed, but it takes years to get there.
There will for sure be video chats and messages from her. She is the only one from Midvein's family that he has any kind of real relationship with (ie. one of the reasons why hes on the Hauler). She will for sure give him gossip/blackmail on political figures that their family associates with etc. etc. because they come from an affluent political family.
