A few ppl have asked why I chose to release my album exclusively on my site for this week Here’s a few reasons why..... Yes, being on all streaming platforms is convenient for listeners but in my case it’s also trading exposure for a a loss of profits and access. For example. My album is only $15 on my site but I get to make that money and then split it with my contributors only. On iTunes the album is $10.99, Apple takes a 30% cut out of that and then we split the rest. Apple also gets the emails of all of my fans and supporters and does not share that information with me only some analytics. By releasing on my site I have full access to the ppl who support me. So for anyone who wants to support me, buy the album from my website and then add it to your playlists next week and you can still have convienience while showing your support.
