Am I too old and bitter ?

I went to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them two days ago, and I was so desappointed by it... I didn’t even have much expectations for it which is saying something. I knew who the bad guy was just by seeing his hair at the very beginning of the movie. I mean, i knew it was gonna be Grindelwald. What I’m saying is I KNEW WHO IT WAS GONNA BE. The only positive thing of this movie was Eddie Redmayne. I loved his performance. But the whole storyline in itself was kind of pointless in my opinion. It didn’t bring me back in the Harry Potter universe at all. Sure, they have wands, they even cast an Alohomora once, but that’s it, really. And that Obscurus thing ? Please. But the most disappointing thing was Gellert Grindelwald himself. I mean, the guy seems to be such a badass in the books (a very handsome badass, may I had) and now we just have a fucking bleached and bloated Johnny Depp ? Why can’t they give us a charismatic vilain ? Voldemort was bad enough himself. I fear so much for the next movie.

I didn’t enjoy this movie. i hated the Hobbit trilogy (actually just watched the first one and hated it) even if I loved LOTR... Am I getting too old ? Have I lost the spark ? Or are these movies getting crappier and crappier ? Please, tell me I’m not alone in my misery.
