When Roma had shown interest in Shini, Jiggy started digging out information on the other ghoul in order to please her boss. After finding out that Asahi works under Shini, Jiggy went out of her way to start a romantic relationship with him in order to get stuff out of him. Jiggy ended up being with Asahi for nearly a year and even moved in with him to get information about Shini. At first, she thought he was just being hesitant to speak about his boss, but what really was the case is that Asahi is incredibly tight-lipped when it comes to Shini, absolutely refusing to speak of her unless discussing her with others who are in Shini’s circle. It took Asahi awhile, but when he learned that Jiggy was just using him, he threw her to the curb and told her to never try to interfere with his life or Shini’s ever again.
Jiggy told Airesu of the relationship she had with Asahi and the reasoning behind it, he didn’t approve of it at all, and even saw his sister as desperate and willing to do anything to get good with Roma. He isn’t on the best terms with Asahi either. It isn’t uncommon for the two of them to end up arguing when put in the same room, their feud is so bad that Asahi refuses to go to Helter Skelter if Airesu is on shift, and if he goes Airesu refuses to serve him. They have physically fought but it’s usually stopped by Miki or Shini if she’s around.
If provoked, Asahi will make comments about Jiggy to get to Airesu, which only results in Airesu making comments about Aia. This issue has caused a rivalry between the two girls.
Antoine absolutely despises Mie due to the fact that he believes she’s the reason he was severely injured in the Antieku raid. While they were partners when it came to investigations, Antoine was never fond of her. He saw her to be stuck up, childish, immature, brat-like, and needy. He had come to the mindset that he was an investigator, not a babysitter. Whenever she’s around he will exit the room or pretend she isn’t there, even going as low as to snubbing her right in front of her.
Yet Antoine is on incredibly good terms with Gen, her love interest and the one who she’s apparently betrothed to ( it’s a rumor around the office but no one knows if it’s true or not ). While Gen isn’t exactly an investigator, rather a weapon’s expert and designer, it isn’t uncommon for him and Antoine to be spotted to be doing field work together.
Gen is completely infatuated with Shini, he had met her while working on a case. Antoine and Gen were assigned to track down an S+ rated ghoul named Camo. Prior to Camo’s death, he had worked under Shini, taking care of small problems in the fourth ward for her. When Camo was found at his rundown apartment Shini was also there, yet since she lacked a mask she instructed Camo to treat her as if he would a human, as a recently hunted meal to be exact. When Gen had gone to search the apartment, he had found Shini on the floor sobbing. Instantly he felt some sort of unexplained attraction to her. She took on the role of the damsel in distress. Later on Camo ended up “killing” Shini in order to protect her from the CCG. Before Gen and Antoine could call for backup, Camo had altered Asahi of the situation so he could retrieve Shini’s “remains”. Since that night Gen hasn’t be able to remove Shini from his mind, he even went out of his way to find out just who she was. When Shini was proclaimed alive and well by her fanbase, Gen had a life crisis.
