I loved this anime back then, and later read the manga where I found this character. I completely fell for her because she was so incredibly mysterious.

I just copied it back then, but it was still a nice experience — her facial expression is just so beautiful!

I really do love the idea of an adult Miko who's gotten so used to seeing spirits now that she doesn't even bat an eye.

She's on a date with Michiru at an outdoor cafe, talking about how she's struggling to come up with another plot for a story. She'd then see 8ft tall ghoul land beside her screeching, writhing, and calling for help. A second passes as another being bursts out from its insides, devouring it messily from the inside out. They both cry out, loud, one in fear and the other in hunger.

Miko would then turn back to Michiru and say, "Actually I might have an idea. Let's finish our tea before we go." Before saving her lava cake for Hana to eat later, as she just lost her appetite.
