#MightyMonday swings ever forward with the tale of “”Frail” (Listen at: http://smarturl.it/thevibeep) “Frail” finds an elegant woman sitting alone in front of her vanity. She is surrounded by aged trinkets, framed pictures of herself and her family, and rooms full of memories and things that tell her story. She is at once beautiful and fragile. The song ebbs and flows to capture the feeling of being at once so connected to the past and so far from it. How often do we live in the past? Do we take a singular beautiful moment and hold it on a pedestal Do we chase our tails in a feeble attempt to relive past victories? The historic facades on new buildings remind us of how we idolize the “good old days” and forget to immerse ourselves in the present. These, too, will fade with time. David Polk added the classy piano stylings on the song. A local actress dressed in a gown and greying wig to help capture the character for the album artwork. (at New Orleans, Louisiana)
