I think I had some unfinished snippet at some point where Chico is thinking about bedsharing with Miguel, and it's all nice and fond thoughts because he doesn't mind and maybe he compares Miguel to the sun? I don't remember, I have them do that sometimes and now I'm just thinking how funny that would be to have Chico experiencing fuzzy warm feelings with a sense of I Will Withstand The Heat FOR HIM... only to have Miguel shove his ass to the ground at the end because he does not feel like withstanding the heat. "What? Think it means something? It's fucking hot. Oh, I don't care enough or whatever? Bullshit. I sucked your dick, we can do your cuddling when it's fucking colder."
EHEHHEHE When I tagged this, I was actually imagining Miguel's ass getting kicked out*, but this is also great!! Because I do think Chico would think making these sort of sacrifices would be noble and romantic of him, and yeah, something something, embracing the sun <33 whereas I could totally imagine Miguel making his stank face and giving Chico the boot, sleepy gravelly voice grumbling if Chico doesn't stay at the other side of the bed, he's going to [vague threats of violence]. The heat feeling like something that closes in and makes sleeping near someone else borderline stifling, I think, would also get on Miguel's nerves and contribute to him getting fed up with Chico wanting to spoon or something. Plus, Miguel manhandling Chico (in this case to give him a firm shove away lol) is always a bonus!
*Seeeee, my thinking originally was that I think Miguel doesn't mind sweating or being sweaty—perhaps even likes being sweaty, fight fire with fire that sort of thing. It's erotic! Raw animal musk and whatnot! (Chico: 🙄🤔👀🤔) Whereas besides indulging in hot sweaty fun times, etc, Chico is a lot more particular about hygiene and something something, dank sheets, grumble grumble, just took a shower, likes feeling clean. The point is not that he can just take a shower in the morning! The point is that he feels cool and comfortable and clean while he's going to sleep! Plus, the idea that Chico is very tolerant except about a few things that super piss him off, is funny. Not to say he doesn't humor the snuggling and getting Miguel's body all draped over him a few times, esp if it leads to more 😛, but when the heat gets to a Certain Degree multiple nights in a row, I think he'd snap and shove Miguel to the floor 😂
Not exactly related but in the part where you wrote "your cuddling" (not that I think it's what you were saying broadly), it reminded me I headcanon Miguel runs hot (a factor of all the sleevelessness) while Chico runs cold (his penchant for layers) so yes, lots of cuddling when it's chillier :3 (no complaints from Miguel then, either way) (I feel like he'd be kind of Resistant to the concept of cuddling but only on the surface in a too cool/I'm A Man way, but actually he likes the contact a lot....)
